ME 4590 - Dynamics of Machinery

Kinematical and dynamic analyses of machines, mechanisms, and rotating systems.  Topics include open and closed loop kinematical analyses, Newton's law for rigid body motion, inertia, work and energy methods, flywheels, static and dynamic balancing, Lagrange's equations of motion, and introductory vibration analysis.  Prerequisite: ME 3580.
