Purpose of the Course

  • To familiarize you with the various ways in which nations organize their telecommunication infrastructures. And to help you understand the differences in terms of diversity in culture, national objectives, policies, and ideologies.
  • To help you understand how modern telecommunication technologies are bringing people together and homogenizing cultures and peoples.
  • The technological and economic forces of homogenization in a heterogenous world create controversies and debates in the international community. This document will also help you understand the ideological positions that underlie the international controversies surrounding telecommunication organization and arrangements.
