The name Dell may be synonymous with "direct," but the computer giant has a more diverse approach to the market these days. The world's #1 direct-sales computer vendor provides a broad range of computer products for the consumer and enterprise markets. In addition to a full line of desktop and notebook PCs, Dell offers network servers, workstations, storage systems, printers, projectors, and Ethernet switches. It also markets third-party software and peripherals. Dell's growing services unit provides systems integration, support, and training. The company began selling through retail stores in 2007.

AT&T Foundation
DESCRIPTION

If you said the AT&T Foundation was phoning it in, would it be offended or complimented? One of several not-for-profit arms of AT&T Inc., the foundation provides funding for programs in education, civic and community service, arts and culture, and employee involvement. While it has supported thousands of organizations worldwide, the foundation promotes projects in areas where AT&T has a significant market presence; it focuses on advancing information technology capabilities. Recent recipients include performing arts institutions, minority scholarship funds, and community technology centers. The foundation has distributed more than $735 million in grants since it was established in 1983.

Comcast Cable Communications, Inc.
DESCRIPTION

Capturing couch potatoes from Connecticut to California, Comcast Cable Communications is the cable television component of parent Comcast Corporation. Comcast Cable Communications has more than 24 million basic cable customers, making it the largest US cable company (ahead of #2 Time Warner Cable). The company counts more than 15 million subscribers to its digital cable services and it has about 13 million broadband Internet access subscribers. Another 4 million subscribers use the Comcast Digital Phone service to make calls over the Internet. Comcast Cable also oversees the regional sports and news network operations of its parent company.
