Collegiate Objective |
On a personal level, I am going through college to find out what it is like to live on your own. When you’re in high school you have responsibilities but you aren’t free to do what you want. The biggest part of college to me is figuring out what it is like to be someone who can live without help. To sustain life without the cartilage of your family. You have to learn how to manage your time so that you can have fun but still learn how to succeed in life. I also want to figure out what the real world is like. Where I grew up there isn’t much diversity. It is life, but it isn’t the real world. It’s more of a surreal life. I want to better myself for the rest of my life, and college is the best place to do that. On a professional level, I want to do what I need to do to be successful. I’m not sure exactly what job I want to do, but whatever it is I want to do it to the best of my ability. I want to average a 3.0 GPA throughout my college career. I know I will be successful in my career because of all my experiences I will have been through here at Western Michigan University. It will have prepared me for life, which combines my personal and my professional goals. Kyle Raymond |
