ATTENDANCE/PARTICIPATION: You are expected to come prepared to seminar and to participate in seminar activities, seminar discussions and presentations.
REFLECTIVE JOURNALS: These journals should provide opportunities to assess and evaluate your internship. They provide issues and ideas for sharing and discussion of professional practice and are due weekly except as noted in the semester schedule.
VIDEO TAPING: It is expected that you will video-tape yourself twice during the semester and analyze your teaching with your mentor. These tapes also can be used as materials for your portfolio.
PORTFOLIO: The portfolio represents your growth in becoming a reflective practitoner as demonstrated in the six Teacher Education Program Outcomes. See pp. 19-20 of the INTERN TEACHING HANDBOOK.
