On a personal level, I am entering college to not only experience what college is all about, but also to acquire more knowledge, get a good education, meet new friends, and compete in collegiate athletics. I want to learn a bit more about myself, and who I really am. I want to be able to learn what it is like to live in the “real world” and be independent. I am on the gymnastics team, so I have learned to be a part of a team, and work well together with others. I hope to meet a lot of new people. The people that I meet, I want to make strong friendships with, and maintain those friendships throughout my lifetime. I have friends back home who I continue to stay in touch with, but meeting new people and beginning a new path is what college is all about, and I want to experience it all. I want to get involved, and have responsibilities and accomplish many goals. I also want to continue to grow excel in everything that I set my mind to.

On a professional level, I am seeking to graduate college with a degree. I am planning on majoring in marketing or advertising, so wherever that may take me, I am looking forward to. I want to excel in school, and learn a lot from the classes which I am taking currently and will take in the future. I want to maintain as high a GPA as I can. The ultimate goal would be to reach a 4.0 sometime throughout my four years here at school. I plan to become involved in clubs and groups that will help me decide exactly what I want to do after college once I enter the working field. I want to learn better study habits than I had in high school that will help me do the best that I can in all of my classes. I also want to work through the hardships that I may face, and be able to feel successful after accomplishing everything. I know that I will be able to succeed at anything I put my mind to, and I plan to have a very good experience in college.
