A. How is selection of materials in this subject
are made?
Requests
from faculty and staff working with publishers' announcements and flyers. Usage statistics are also
utilized
for serials acquisitions.
B. Methods for acquiring materials (approval
plans, etc.)
Purchase orders, approval plan
for books, standing orders for periodicals and serials. Major book reviewing journals
and
American Reference Books Annual are also surveyed for new works appropriate to the collections.
