Collegiate Objective
My freshman year of college is almost over with and I still can’t believe that I’m in

college, let alone almost be a sophomore in college. Getting accepted to Western Michigan

University was amazing. It was a new chapter in my life and I was so ready to start it! Living

away from home has been hard, but it’s made me become more responsible and grow up a little

bit. I’m a completely different person now then I was in high school. I have met amazing people

who are now my friends. I know that we will all stay friends no matter where life will take us.

Every day I learn something new about myself and it’s so exciting. A part of growing up is

making mistakes and learning from them. I have made my fair of mistakes but luckily I have

learned a lesson from all of them. As I continue my journey at Western Michigan University I

want to continue to be the best that I can be and to continue to grow and improve.

On a professional level I am here at Western because I want to soar throughout my

career. I want to be a Pharmaceutical rep and eventually have enough experience to become a

boss in this company. I’m here to learn, and Hayworth college of Business is excellent. I’m so

happy to be able to have this opportunity. I’m not in my program yet, but I will be soon! I’m a

very determined person and I will do whatever it takes to get the career that I want. I have goals

for myself and I know that I will make them happen. I want to study abroad in Australia and

soak up all of the knowledge that I can there. I plan on doing this during my junior year of

college. You have to keep a certain GPA and I know that will not be a problem for me. I have

job shadowed a lot of people in my career that I’m pursuing. The next step for me next summer

is to have an internship. I’ve spoken to a few different businesses that I am interested in and

hopefully it works out for me. I know that if I keep doing what I’m doing then I don’t see a

problem with me not getting the internship. When I graduate from Western Michigan University

I hope that I have accomplished everything that I wanted to do and then some. I know that when

I graduate I will have job offerings from corporations that want me to start my career off with

them.
