Although I have never been to Seattle, WA; I was excited to get this amazing city as my midterm topic. I know a little about Seattle and now that I have done some research on the city, I think I would really like to visit. Seattle is home to The Seahawks and Supesonics. Although Seattle is know to be a rather rainy city, it is home to some beautiful sites. Here are a few of the Places and things to do in Seattle that I found most interesting.
The Pike Place Market is the soul of Seattle.
Continuously operating for nearly a century, the Market's traditions, products,
and people create a unique shopping destination and a thriving community.

The Space Needle Web Cam presents you with a one-of-a-kind perspective on Seattle and the surrounding area. Brilliant sunrises, romantic sunsets, ferries gliding across Elliott Bay, majestic Mount Rainier and hundreds of other awe-inspiring images unique to the Space Needle await you. We invite you to come back often to see the Puget Sound area during the day, at night and as the seasons change throughout the year.

Mount Rainier is the highest and third most voluminous volcano of the Cascade Range.
For the last 100,000 years the rate of erosion, by debris avalanche and glaciers, has been greater than that of the rate of volcano growth.
