- I've been teaching at Fennville Middle School for 25
years, mostly seventh grade. This year we have a double period of
Language Arts, so we can team teach reading and writing.
- Some of our projects this year are Fennville Sense of
Place Project, Middle Ages Project, The Revealers, and World
War II Project.
- My family owns a winery in Fennville called Fenn
Valley Vineyards. I live in a beautiful setting, right in the
middle of the vineyards.
- Our family enjoys scuba diving. Our favorite
place to go is a little island iin the Turks and Caicos Islands called
Grand Turk.
- I am a Teacher Consultant with the Third Coast Writing
Project at Western Michigan University.
- I've been a part of the National Writing Project's
Rural Voices, Country Schools initiative. You can hear the Rural
Voices CD's we have produced here.
- I've also done a Teacher Exchange through the National
Writing Project, spending two weeks in St. Louis at
the Gateway
Writing Project's Summer Institute.
- I'm a mystery buff. When I have some leisure
time, those are the books I turn to.
