Collegiate Objective |
On a professional level, I have chosen to go to college to get a good education for my future career. I hope to learn how to focus on what is important and not let the little stuff distract me. I would like to make the dean's list at least one time while I am attending college and I would also like to 4.0 a semester at least once as well. The transition from high school to college was a big one, but I quickly learned that I can't slack off and I really need to pay attention to keep up. While I am attending college I would like to join a few business groups, so I can associate with people who have the same goals as myself. I hope to graduate college with a good education and a bright future ahead of me.
On a personal level, my biggest goal of college is to graduate an independent adult who is educated enough to live on my own. It's very easy to get used to being taken care of and never having to worry about anything. Well college is a big wake up call for a lot of sheltered kids. For the first time, I'm paying my own bills and taking the fall for my own mistakes. I also hope to meet new people from different places and build strong lasting relationships with them. When I graduate I hope I am prepared enough to have the confidence and determination to go out there and start my life.
