Welcome! My name is Lisa Gartland and this is my first year teaching. I'm so very excited to meet you and the students. I grew up in the Upper Peninsula in a small town called Escanaba. I went on to graduate from Escanaba Area High School in the year 2004. I then attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College for 2 1/2 years; I then transferred to Western Michigan University to receive my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
