Careers in Statistics

Course Catalog Description:

An introductory course in statistics for upper level students possessing a limited mathematics background. The emphasis is on the use of statistical tools rather than on their theoretical development. Topics will include probability distributions, means and variances, interval estimates, tests of hypotheses, correlation and regression. This course will not count towards a mathematics major. Students can receive credit for only one of Stat 216, 260, 364, or 366.
