BUDGETING FOR EDUCATION TECHNOLOGY STAFF DEVELOMENT

The average school district sets aside only 5% of their budget for staff development. This includes technology based and nontechnology based staff development. Today, schools are pinching pennies where they can and rely on grants and Title I money to help with staff development expenses. These expenses may include everything from the presenter, lodging, catering/food, materials and handouts.
