Description

The importance of information, computers, and communication to the modern business enterprise is the focus of the BIS Department. The Department offers the following undergraduate concentrations, each of which emphasizes a different facet of Business Information Systems:

Area of Study	Description
Administrative System	Focuses on management of records and automation in the office environment
Computer Information System Minor and Major	Focuses on design, development, management and use of computer-based information systems.
Business Communication Minor	Focuses on communication skills and theory and the intersection of communication and technology as they affect business.
