Overview of My Professional Portfolio:

I have used technology to support the learning in my classroom in many different dimensions. This portfolio demonstrates the way in which I implement the National Technology Standards and the Michigan Curricular Frameworks Benchmarks into numerous lessons in all areas of the curriculum. As evidence, I have included teacher-created materials, student presentations, educational websites, rubrics, evaluation tools, and assessments. In addition, I have included presentation handouts, photos, and training materials which clearly demonstrate how I use professional development to stay current and share knowledge with others. I will explain the way in which I use technology to address a variety of student needs, learning styles and ability levels. As proven in my Educational Philosophy, I believe that students should work at their own instructional levels in all areas of the curriculum, including technology.

Throughout most of the portfolio you will see links within the text that immediately demonstrate or illustrate the topic that I am discussing. However, in the Standard Pages I also included a bulleted list of exhibits/links that could be explored at the user's convenience. Thank you for visiting my portfolio and enjoy searching through it and by all means feel free to use any of the information that you find useful.
