Collegiate Objective |
I suppose the biggest personal reason that I have entered college is that the experience will allow me to better myself. By doing so, I will have a greater understanding of the world around myself, which will assist me in living the rest of my life. College will also introduce me to people and experiences that I would not be able to experience had I stayed at home, or gone straight from high school. I also want to meet people that I will know for the rest of my life and keep in touch with them after college is finished. Essentially, completing college will allow me to be better than I was before I started; something I find very satisfying. Professionally, college will provide me with the knowledge and experience that I need to compete in the real world. That is, as soon as I'm sure I know what I want to do. Right now, I am majoring in accounting, though I am not positive that it is what I want to do for the majority of my life. Hopefully, after exploring that career more thouroughly, I will come to a positive conclusion. I suppose that as I finish my college education, I'll find out if that has happened. Mike Watters |
