Overall, my Marketing 105 class has been my most important class in preparation for seeking a job. I took this class at KVCC my sophomore year. This class was an initial overview of the marketing field. Concepts, terminology, and ideas were brought to my attention that I had no prior knowledge of. The teacher was very enthusiastic and helped really bring my attention to the course. He inspired me to make Marketing my major. This is my primary concentration at Western Michigan University. I now know what employers in the field are going to be looking for when they interview me. I can therefore, be more appealing to them in hopes of landing a job. I also learned of the different marketing positions available. This helped me narrow down my choices for future employment. My Business 101 class was also very informational. It served as a springboard to all my other classes. I have used information used from this class in almost every single one of my following classes. In the class, I learned interviewing techniques and strategies that I will utilize in years to come. I also learned how to put a profession resume together. I have used this several times already in preparation for job interviews.
