On a personal level, I am entering college to discover more about myself and about the world in which I live. I am seeking reasons for why I am at college and why I want a college education so that I can figure out what career interests me. I know I will take a few wrong paths along the way, and will most likely change majors from time to time. As long as I find something I love enough to do for the rest of my life. I also want to make many new friends that will encourage me to be all that I can be. Having a social life is very important to me as well. Overall, I hope to find a new me, a better me, and continue to grow and improve, both as an individual and as a member of society. On a professional level, I want to learn enough for a satisfying career. One of my scholarly goals is to be on the deans list all semesters of my college career. I am going to try and join at least one business society, where I will begin to network and learn the secrets of the trade from others in the profession. I will take the studying strategies and educational techniques I learned about and used in grade school and take them to the next level so that they work for a much more vigorous college curriculum. I have high goals for myself, and determination that comes along with it. When I graduate from college, my hope is that corporations will be begging me to begin my career with them. I shall succeed professionally because I know that my career depends on my performance in both my personal and professional objectives. Michael Hankamp |
