Artist Statement:

My current fine art photographic work aims to illustrate and exploit the mental condition that is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Through preliminary studies on my personal neuroses, the themes of repetition and discomfort came naturally. I realized that the derangement that I feel from these neuroses, or obsessions, trigger compulsions that attempt to mask the uncomfortable situations. The viscous cycle repeats itself over and over again, seeming to have no end. As I continue to work, I hope to illustrate the severity and anxiety associated with this disorder, as well as other debilitating mental diseases.
