On a personal level, I am entering college to help myself grow, both as a human being and as a professional. While here, I continue to meet new friends on a daily bases, as well as keep in contact with the old friends! I think when taken seriously, college can be the most rewarding experience one can have. While yes, I did mainly come to college to learn and grow, but I also came to have the time of my life! With the balance I have found here at Western Michigan University - I am able to do all of these things!
On a professional level, I entered college to gain the knowledge and tools to help me find a career in which I will love. I plan to continue my education beyond my undergradute years. I would ultimately like to land a job in higher education student affairs. I also came to college to gain job experience, as I also work in the admissions office here at the university. Through my classes and my on the job experience, I hope to be able to successfully obtain a job in this field, and ultimately be able to tell people that I actually am what I always wanted to be when I grew up - HAPPY!
