An Amateur's Guide to the Dave Matthews Band Community
This page is designed to be a crash course into locating and becoming a part of all things DMB. Listed are some links to different web sites and databases which will allow you to discover stats about shows, downloads of live performances, band info, and message boards designed for community communication and exchange of ideas, tickets, recordings, pictures and other media.
http://www.dmbalmanac.com -- This is a site devoted to any and all DMB stats and shows. It is easy to navigate and free to use and the mecca of the community.
http://www.thesedayscontinue.org -- This is probably one of the more popular message board sites. http://www.antsmarching.org is another, and is complete with its own stats features. Go to either of these places to talk DMB or visit the nDMBc to talk about whatever you like.
http://www.dmbtabs.com -- This is a site tediously put together by J. Kanter and is devoted to tabulature of DMB music. These tabs are often complete with instructional videos and is based on a lot of research conducted collecting and scrutinizing videos in order to play each song EXACTLY the way Dave does.
http://www.dmband.com -- This is perhaps the last resort for the hardcore fans, but this site (supported directly by the band) contains much valuable information and media. It can be used to find merch and tickets, but as you delve into the community, you will find out how the real hardcores find what they need.
