Collegiate Objective

As a kid, college is something you always look forward too. You think that the students are so old and so mature; it looks like they have the life. As I entered college that’s what I was expecting. The first month of college was all parties and all fun, then in the beginning of October when my roommate dropped out because she was failing all of her classes, I realized I cannot follow that path. I looked at myself, my parents, and my siblings and said I need to be like them and I asked myself why am I here? I found out that I’m not here to live the ‘college life’, but I’m here to excel in what I love and become someone that my parents can be proud of. So if I want to do something with a life, where I can eventually have a job that supports me and my family, it all starts here, in college.
