Psychology 599 (PPP):
Professional Psychology Practicum

The Professional Psychology Practicum (PPP) is a sub-system of the Behavior Analysis Training System (BATS) at Western Michigan University (WMU). PPP is a goal-directed system aimed at providing graduate and undergraduate students with professional experience in psychology. Masters-level graduate students complete Psychology 599 plus 500 hours of practicum experience to satisfy the state of Michigan's requirements for Temporary Limited Licensure in Psychology (TLLP). Students can gain experience at three specified practicum sites. In addition, PPP provides a general track and an Autism/DD track for students. Both tracks offer the option of obtaining the TLLP described above.
