I had always thought of college as a daunting task; both on a personal level and professional. I was never sure of what I would make of myself or who I was to become. However, the opportunity to attend college soon arose and I somewhat felt ready. As I went through the orientation here at Western I found my self bound for the Haworth Business College where I hope to major somewhere in advertising. I hope to achieve all my professional goals here at Western with the help of my professors and friends. These goals would include: a GPA no less than 3.500, completing sixteen academic hours a semester, and hopefully many internships along the way. Thus far I have truly enjoyed each of my professors and have learned much from them. In terms of schooling, Western Michigan University seems like a great launching pad for any career.

WMU has more than just professional aspects of life to offer me. On a personal level I have made some new friends but have also been able to keep the old because of Western's central location. Since I have come here I have joined a sorority, Alpha Phi, which I love and enjoy very much. With new friends, a new life, and a new school I hope to become all that I can be; both inside and out. My life has just took a turn, for the better in my journey and I hope to fulfill all that is at my reach.
