ABOUT ROTHBURY TICKETS

Tickets for ROTHBURY are on-sale now at this website www.rothburyfestival.com. There are many different ticket types and packages available. Please read the options carefully to find the set that best fits your festival needs.

There is no service charge for ROTHBURY Tickets.

A $2.00 Grant Township Land Improvement Fee will be automatically added to the price of each ticket. (This does not apply to the ROTHBURY RV or VIP RV Pass).

A 3% processing & handling fee and $10.00 shipping fee are the only additional costs added to the price of each order.

All tickets will ship approximately one month prior to event date (shipping details to be announced). All orders shipped within the United States will ship by UPS 2nd Day Air for $10.00 per order. All orders shipped outside of the United States will ship by Global Priority Mail for $10.00 per order. When your tickets leave our building, you will receive an e-mail with detailed tracking info.

All ROTHBURY tickets are special commemorative tickets printed using 100% recycled materials. Keep your tickets in a safe and secure place. Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets cannot be replaced!

ROTHBURY’S GREEN TICKET

Participation in ROTHBURY’s Green Ticket is optional.

ROTHBURY is guided by a bold sustainability mission. While it is our goal to reduce our impact as much as possible, for those things we can not eliminate, we will be carbon-neutral. This means we are offsetting all carbon emissions related to our event production; including year round staff offices, crew and artist travel, all electricity use at the 2,000 acre Double JJ Ranch (including hotels, cabins, RV parks), and more. We will offset through a combination of building new renewable energy wind farms with Bonneville Environmental Foundation, and planting trees with Global ReLeaf of Michigan.

All offsetting dollars will go through the Bonneville Environmental Foundation, a Portland, Oregon-based nonprofit organization. BEF was established in 1998 to further the development and use of new renewable energy resources and restore watershed ecosystems. BEF funds projects that support new renewable energy projects from solar, wind and biomass, which restore damaged watersheds. Revenues generated from ROTHBURY will go to Horizon Wind’s Prairie Star, a new wind project located in Mower County, Minnesota. The project is sited on a working corn and soy farm and employs 61 Vestas wind turbines sized at 1.65 megawatt each. Prairie Star generates enough pollution-free electricity to serve about 35,000 households throughout the Midwest. Learn more at: greentagsusa.org/renewables/prairiestar.shtm.

Here’s a brief synopsis on how offsetting works.

But it doesn’t stop there - In addition to offsetting, ROTHBURY has partnered with RE:VOLVE APPAREL and Black Rock Solar to outfit a local school in the town of Rothbury with free solar power. ROTHBURY (with the help of RE:VOLVE APPAREL) has already committed to donating an absolute minimum of $50,000 worth of solar panels, but with your help, we can hopefully generate much more. Bauer Power, a local solar installer from Grand Rapids, will be Black Rock Solar's local contractor for this great project. NOW YOU. We have estimated all fan travel (planes, trains, automobiles, and even some bikes) and have come up with a safe figure needed to collectively carbon-offset every one of you: just $3 each. We call this the “Green Ticket” and it comes in two levels, with all sorts of bribes to entice you to take this as far as you can. The more you give, the more we can do for the local community, and our world.

Here’s how the Green Ticket works:

LEVEL 1 - $3 tribute added to the price of your ticket, to offset your piece of the travel pie.

LEVEL 2 - $7 tribute added to the price of your ticket, to offset your piece of the travel pie, with the remaining $4 going to ROTHBURY’s Solar Schools fund.

And yes, we have a bribe.

Those that choose LEVEL 2 will be automatically entered into ROTHBURY’s “Mother(Earth) of All Raffles.”

Raffle Prizes include:

1. Grand Prize (one winner) – a two week trip for two to Costa Rica! The winner will stay one week at Punta Mona, an 85-acre organic farm and center for sustainable living, located on the southern Caribbean coast, and one week at Finca Luna Nueva Lodge, an organic-biodynamic herbal estate and rainforest lodge near Arenal volcano.
