On a personal level I came to college to continue my learning process away from home. I felt that being away I would be more likely to expand and find myself. I am very dependent of my parents and the only way I was going to learn was through experience. I know I was shelter however it was by choice, I allowed fear to hold me back and I was afraid to fail so I didn’t try new things. I always known that I wanted to continue my mother’s legacy and go Greek. Overall I want to embrace the college experience; living life to the fullest, learn from my mistakes and walk away being a better person.
On a professional level, I came to college with the intension of becoming a business major while exploring my options and find a career. As a child I was always inform an education is a must and should be taking serious.  For my first semester I set a goal of all A’s out of my classes with exception that if I fall a little short in one class I will still have a high GPA. I am more determined to succeed now more than ever because of the cost of college and to show my appreciating for having this opportunity. I plan to keep the same determination throughout my college journey so that once I graduate various company will want to hire me.
