Further, the company provides a range of financial services, including originating, collecting, and servicing customer receivables related to the purchase of Dell products; and financing alternatives, asset management services, and other customer financial services for business and consumer customers. Its customers comprise large corporate, government, healthcare, and education accounts, as well as small and medium businesses, and individual consumers. The company sells its products and services directly to customers through sales representatives, telephone-based sales, and online at www.dell.com, as well as through various indirect sales channels. It has a strategic alliance agreement with Perot Systems Corp., which provides integrated IT solutions.

manufactures and supplies thin film transistor liquid crystal displays (TFT-LCD) to original equipment manufacturers and multinational corporations. The company offers TFT-LCD panels in a range of sizes and specifications primarily for use in televisions, notebook computers, and desktop monitors, as well as for handheld application products, such as mobile phones; and medium- and large-size panels for industrial and other applications, including entertainment systems, portable navigation devices, e-paper, digital photo displays, and medical diagnostic equipment. It has a strategic alliance with Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. to develop organic light-emitting diode displays.
