The ideal organization is demographically large in population with metropolitan cities.  In a Psychographic view, the environment of the organization incorporates a progressive corporate culture. Also, it provides multi-entertainment program options for creative interpretation of clientele’s orders.

Each of the above companies are attractive target markets because they allow creative design with clientele event plans, organized managerial structure, and has potential to reach many buyers with high population count.

 

3.      DESIRED JOB. 

          The entry-level job I would wish to obtain with this firm is Assistant Event Coordinator.

 

4.             POSITIONING STATEMENT.

I would like to offer the market my confidence with public speaking and ability to actively listen to clients needs.  Past employers have recognized me to be inspirational to other co-workers and reliable with completion of projects before deadlines.

 

5.      MARKETING MIX: 

a. Product: 

 

1.       Resident Assistant of Eicher/Lefevre Hall: I provide paraprofessional advising to undergraduate students. I have gained skills in planning, assessment, administration, counseling, conflict resolution, crisis management, facilities management, staff development, leadership training, and public speaking.

2.       Part-time employment during full-time school: Managing 15 hours on the job and 16 hours of in-class related time. Homework and R.A. duties require heavily weighted hours to my schedule also, which displays my affection for efficient use of time.

3.       Chairman of Volunteer Services for Haunted Hall: Haunted Hall was a campus wide production. I can use technology advances like excel, access and web-mail services to provide access to advertise and organize project material through one easily revisable database.

4.       Parent Association Volunteer for Family Festival: I actively participate in community building projects that join alumni, enrolled students and local supporters.

5.       Member of National Honors Society, Sigma Phi Theta: I have the ability to actively decode course material and interpret back the actual message.

6.       Co-executive of Hall Council Board: Authority figure that helps make decisions about how to spend Residence Life money. Demonstrates my engagement with direct interaction with co-workers, bosses, and residents of the building to form one unified team.

 

b. Place:  I want to work in a corporation with high coordination, which products are distributed selectively in suburban counties with headquarters in either Illinois or Michigan. I prefer having a permanent address near my family in Michigan.

The exchange value of a higher starting salary is incentive for the company through dedicated long hours at night and on the weekends. However, I will not contract to work full day shifts during the nationally celebrated holidays.

Spring 05:       Apply to Haworth College of Business to declare my Major, Advertising & Promotions and Minors, Spanish & International Business. Participate passively in Career Fair for ideal internships.

 

Summer 05:    Join Spanish Club & Advertising Club; Engage in studies full-time with in-depth concentration on G.P.A. Improvement.

 

Fall 05:           Establish a personalized & professional website for networking. Organize a campus wide event as advertising chair for WMU Hot Spots Program.

 

Spring 06:       Actively participate in Career Fair for entry-level job position in Advertising & Promotions.

 

Summer 06:    Study Abroad in Spain.
