Collegiate Objective

Since this is (hopefully) my last year as an undergraduate student, I feel as if I’ve achieved most of my collegiate objectives.  I have maintained reasonably good grades, I’ve met wonderful people, and I have acquired experience in a variety of industries.

The objectives that I set for myself on the social side of college that have not been achieved are the spring break trips and other fabulous vacations.  I’ve spent all of my summers in summer school or working (or both).

In this last year, I plan to increase my GPA to at least a 3.0, be active in the organizations that I am a member of: Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., National Society of Black Engineers, and Theta Tau professional engineering fraternity.  I also plan to host numerous career events with Western’s Career and Student Employment Services department, where I serve as the marketing relations intern.

Upon graduation, I would like to have solid, long lasting relationships with the people I’ve met here at WMU.  I also would like to have a secure job with good benefits.
