My parents love story could be made into a movie. My father was born and raised in Doncaster, England. My mother was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. They took part in an international teacher exchange, in which my father came to America to teach my Mom's class, and my mother flew to England to teach my dad's class. They lived in each other's apartments and met each other's parents before they ever met each other. They fell in love through letters. My father proposed to her in a letter, and the rest is history.

I don't have much family in America, so the family I have in England is very important to me. We travel there as often as possible. My parents are planning on retiring there, and I would be delighted to one day move there myself.

During our last visit to the UK, my parents surprised my sister and I by taking us to Paris for a couple days.
