HALLOWEEN
Halloween is a big event when you are little.  It is an even bigger event when you get into college.  When you get in college, the costumes become more elaborate, scantily clad, and more expensive.  But before you go out and buy a packaged costume, take a look at some costume descriptions in which pieces of the costume were bought for very little money, or was something that was already laying around the house.
Baseball Player
Get an old jersey, or a jersey-style shirt. Get a pair of gray or black sweat pants that have elastic on the ends of the legs.  Hike (or roll) the pants up to about your shin.  Put on black or white tall socks. With make-up, put a thick line underneath both of your eyes. Put on a pair of sunglasses or a hat to complete the look.

Housewife
Curl your hair and pin it back.  Wear a solid color shirt with a knee-length skirt.  Put on a pair of high heels.  Subtly put your make-up on. Make sure to add rosy cheeks if you already do not have them.  Put a waist apron on to come the look.  Add a rolling pin for a nice prop.

Batman
Get a black body suit that has long sleeves.  Wear black leggings.  Get tall black socks and put them over the black leggings.  Get a black cape.  I was able to find a used cape for $1 at Goodwill.  Get the Batman mask.  I was able to get the mask at a Halloween outlet store for under $5.  Put the mask on and add dark circles under and around your eyes.
