HOUSING
So what is the most economical housing arrangement for Western students? When you are considering where to live, ponder this fact for awhile: To stay in the residence halls it costs $900 per month for one person.
That amount seems a bit steep for what dorms are, one step above jail cells if you ask me. On-campus apartments cost more than that. Through my research, I learned that The Pointe at Western is by far the most economical for students.
For a 4x4 (four bedrooms, 4 baths) apartment at The Pointe, it costs $315. The leases are individual. This means that each person is responsible for paying $315 if they live in a 4x4. At The Pointe, water, trash, cable, and internet are including in your rent. The Pointe is one of the few that has all those amenities included in the price.
