Arby’s:
Most people do not realize what Arby’s offers to their customers. When you purchase a meal, the cashier will give you a receipt. On the receipt, there will be instructions to go online and fill out a survey. The survey contains questions about the service and the food quality of the visit. After the survey is completed, a confirmation number is offered. Putting that number on the receipt will grant the Arby’s customer a free Roast Beef or Beef ‘N’ Cheddar sandwich. When the customer receives the free sandwich, they can buy a fry or a drink and be able to get a receipt to start the free sandwich process all over again. Applebee’s:
During the weekdays at 9 P.M., and on the weekends at 10 P.M., Applebee’s offers half off appetizers. Applebee’s also offers a two for $20 deal everyday of the week. This deal includes an appetizer and two entrees. Although the entrée selection is limited, there is still a great variety of items. For a full menu, go to www.applebees.com.

Roadhouse:
I have been going to this university for four years and have never heard of this promotion until recently. This restaurant does not highly publicize this promotion. The promotion is learned through word of mouth. Every Tuesday at 9 P.M., the Roadhouse offers a Chicken Finger Basket.

The basket includes five Chicken Fingers and a good helping of fries. The Chicken Finger Basket also comes with a choice of sauce. They offer Ranch sauce, and Barbeque sauce. The basket only costs $3.00. There is usually a live band that is performing. It is a great place to go for a cheap dinner with friends.

The Grotto at Capone’s:
This restaurant bar offers a lunch special on the weekdays. Pizza and pasta lunch for only $5. This special goes on from 11 A.M-3 P.M.

Coupons
I used to be to proud to use coupons for food purchases. But I realize that the coupon books that students get at Bronco Bash are really helpful. Food establishments like Pita Pit, who tend to be somewhat pricey has several coupons available. They even do sporadic customer appreciation days. On the customer appreciation days, everyone that walks into Pita Pit gets a free pita. This is a pretty sweet deal considering that a pita is around $6.

Drink Deals
As far as drink deals goes, it is a college town and there are bound to be numerous drink deals. I found www.kzoobardeals.com to be quite helpful. This website lists several bars in the area, and their drink specials according to day. I think the best deal is Waldo Tavern’s Thursday Night mixed drink pitcher special. Like with all the other deals and promotions, this does not start until 9 P.M. If you want a table though, you should get there right when the special starts because it tends to get really packed.
