Ford
Motor Company
Allan Vigil Ford can make you a peach of a
deal on a new Ford. Operating a 28-acre dealership in Morrow and a second lot
in Fayetteville, Allan Vigil Ford is Georgia's
largest volume Ford dealer. Allan Vigil Ford also sells used cars and
provides financing, parts, service, and collision repair. The dealership
includes an on-site restaurant and children's play area. Owner and president
Allan Vigil has won the Ford Motor Triple Crown for customer satisfaction in
2002 and 2003. Only three other Ford dealers in the US have won
the award more than once. Vigil also is chairman of the Board of Regents of
the University System of Georgia.
General
Motors
General Motors of Canada is
that country's #1 assembler of cars, trucks, engines, and components.
However, the company exports the bulk of its vehicles to the US. GM of
Canada produces such models as the Chevrolet Impala, Buick Allure, and
Pontiac Grand Prix. It also manufactures transmissions and other powertrain parts. The company began in 1908 as a
partnership between the family-owned McLaughlin Carriage Company and Buick
Motor Company; GM bought McLaughlin in 1918 and made it the center of its
Canadian operations. GM of Canada operates seven factories in Ontario.
