Configuring Thunderbird to use Office 365 Exchange features

Wexchange (which is really Office 365), the new WMU email system, has several features available in the web interface. If you prefer to use Mozilla Thunderbird for your email then you may find this information useful.

What follows is information about how I configure and use Thunderbird (via customizations and freely-available plugins) to access the features of Office 365 including email, addressbook, calendar(s), tasks, even some things that are not available in Office 365.

NOTE: This is a work-in-progress. I'm trying to finish it before the start of the Fall 2016 semester. I may even add screenshots if I get really motivated.

I know this isn't fancy or cool. I may try to do some basic HTML formatting when I get time.

If you have comments feel free to email me at leonard.peirce@wmich.edu .
