Create a Timeline for Sexual Orientations:
Create a one- or two-page timeline, beginning in Ancient Greece circa 500b.c., that describes:
Heterosexuality,
Homosexuality,
The politics of these two,
A history of these words
A history of research on the two orientations
On this timeline, include:
Critical People
Important Places
Historic Events
Social and Political Movements
Everday life,
The Arts
And include the most important scholars who have described and analyzed these movements and identify their most important works. I'll give you one such scholar to get you started:
Foucault, Michel. 1980. The Use of Pleasure. Vintage Books: New York.
