First attempt at 3D Studio, Assignment was to create an animation that showed the assembly of a packaged product. I chose to do a Rapala lure.

The following five images are the final project in my 3D Studio animation class.

Project Description: Create an animation (no longer than 20 seconds) showing the assembly, installation, operation, packaging or other function of a commercially manufactured product. The intended use of this animation is for inclusion in multimedia and/or video for design, marketing, production, maintenance, or training applications. Animation must clearly show some form of motion which is useful in understanding some function or visually informative aspect of the product.

Are group show to creat a marketing video for Aquarium World in Lafayette. The video featured a entertaining chase between to main characters: Oscar "A colorful little fish" , Phoenix "The bad old eel"

Scene 1: Starts with a camera pan into fishtank with Oscar watching from with in the tank.
Camera then watch Oscar hide from the camera behind a piece of coral.
Camera views Oscar as Phoenix slides in front of camera.

Scene 2: Camera cuts to watch Phoenix attack Oscar.
Both Oscar and Phoenix zoom past camera as the chase is on.
Camera follows chase until Oscar and Phoenix disappear around large rock in the middle of the fish tank.

Scene 2c: Camera cuts catching Oscar and Phoenix flying over the castle on top of the large rock.
Camera follows Oscar and Phoenix as they dart through a tangled piece of coral.
Camera views Phoenix geting caught in the coral and watches Oscar swim away.

Scene 3: Camera views Oscar swimming towards and in to a broken sub.
Camera views sub magically assemble. Sub then zooms past camera.

Scene 4: Carmera cuts to perascope view with Phoenix in the crosshairs.
Two torpedos are fired. One missing above and exploding the second hitting Phoenix on the nose.
Phoenix falls over after being stunned. Aquarium world logo appears.
Credits scroll with mention that no one was ever harmed in the creation of this animation.
