Ludington Biological Station U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service - Biological Technician Apr. '98 - Oct '99
I was a member of the Sea Lamprey Control team. Work consisted of taking pHs, alkalinities, gauging stream velocity, conducting dye studies, feeding lampricide at set rates and backpack shocking streams and rivers throughout the Great Lakes area. I also drove trucks and hauled trailers of 20 feet in length in the same areas. In the second season I helped on several Toxicity test that the team used to determent lampricide concentrations on streams we treated. This involved using a HPLC machine and mixing several different chemicals used in running a toxicity test
