My Teaching Philosophy: I hold a strong belief that education should be available to anyone who wants to learn. I make this apparent through my views that educations should be fun and exciting. One should want to learn and that is my focus of teaching. I believe that Reading and writing are the fundementals to all other subject matters but also believe that other subjects need to be equally taught. I also hold a strong belief that the arts should be taught readily and as often as possible through integration into the core subjects to help in motivating and challenging students.
Career goals: I plan to seek my masters in Early Childhood Education and eventually a Docterate. I want to continue my education as much as possible to help insure that I am well-informed on the new methods of teachign children.
History of Education: I graduated from Eisenhower High School, Shelby Twp. MI in 2002 and am graduating with a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education in Dec. 2007
Work Experience: I am in my internship at Kellogg Elementary School right now and am working at the CDC off of Gull Rd. in Kalamazoo.
