Collegiate Objective

On a personal level, I am going to college to see what else life has to offer than living in a small country community. True I am trying to obtain a higher education to assist me in my life, but on a more personal level trying to figure out what my role in life is or can be. Very few of my close friends went to school, instead pursuing a career, but I want to have that higher education so I have some kind of job security in my life. I hope to meet new people with new ideas that will help me grow to be a better person and encourage me to do something new that will last a lifetime.

On a professional level, I hope to receive a four year degree that will make people realize the time and effort that I put in to get the degree. Another goal of my time at Western Michigan University is to be named to the dean’s list at least once. I will surround myself by people that will show me ways in which to get ahead in the business world. Hopefully, my ability to listen to what others have to say will develop more to let me absorb the opportunities that will present themselves. I will leave all the mistakes that I did in High School behind and focus more on what I can do with a new start at college. I will succeed where I failed because I have experience on my side to achieve higher goals. When I graduate from college, I will have many opportunities to work were I want and do what I want. I will succeed professionally, by combining my personal and professional objectives and making them one. This is my to do during my collegiate years.
