Grand Rapids is the second largest city in Michigan with a population of 1,302,372. In 1945, Grand Rapids was the first city in the U.S. to add fluoride to its drinking water. Also, 38th president Gerald R. Ford was a native to this great city. The Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park has the Midwest’s most comprehensive sculpture collection. Grand Rapids ranks fifth-healthiest town for men by Men’s Health Magazine from among 101 cities surveyed (October 2002). Grand Rapids was originally known as the “Furniture Capital” of the nation. It is known today as the “Furniture Capital” of office furniture manufacturing.
There are many things to do in Grand Rapids. One could go to Van Andel Arena and see a concert such as Carrie Underwood, watch the hometown teams Grand Rapids Griffins (an AHL hockey team) or the Grand Rapids Rampages (Professional Arena Football League team). Just North of the city limits is Fifth-Third ballpark where the West Michigan Whitecaps call their home field. They are an affiliate of the MLB team Detroit Tigers. There are handfuls of bars in Downtown G.R. all in close walking distance to each other. The surrounding areas have over 20 golf courses to choose from and tons of movie theatres, malls, and restaurants in the surrounding areas of Grand Rapids.

My full name is Race William Cameron. I live in the California Townhouses with 5 of my friends. I'm in the fraternity Alpha Tau Omega and my current position is IM Sports Chairman. I am a Telecommunications and Information Management major and will be graduating in the Spring. I have minor HTML experience and have wanted to know more for quite a while, but between classes and work I don't much time for anything.
My immediate family is very small. I have just one sister who lives in a apartment by herself and is a teacher in the Grand Rapids Public School District. My Mother and Father also reside in Grand Rapids. I consider all of my frat brothers to be family too. I spend most of my time with them and know that they always have my back.
Below are pictures of some of the good times I've shared with my friends at here at Western Michigan University
This is a picture at a Halloween Party in 2006. Pictured is my friend's Brian (left), Me (middle), Andy (right), and my baby Blazer.

This is a picture of my fraternities IM Dodge ball team. We were
undefeated in this season and this championship made two in a row. I led the
team in outs and was hands down the MVP for the season along with the
championship game.
