On a personal level, I believe that a college education is very important to succeed in life. I am in college to enhance my knowledge and learn about the world around me. I know that Western Michigan University is going to help me to achieve all of this.

On a professional level, I want to graduate from Western Michigan University having learned as much as possible. As of right now I am going to major in Advertising and Promotion and minor in Fashion Merchandising. I would like to start my minor during the summer before my junior year in London. I want to study abroad because I believe that I will learn a great deal about fashion merchandising in the fashion capital! I am proud to say that I have already achieved a 4.00 GPA and was on the Dean's List in my first year of college. I would like to continue this throughout my career at Western. After college at Western I am planning on moving to another state, most likely California, to pursue my career and also further my education.
