Personal Page

Most of my life has been spent in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I have a heart for this city and my community of family and friends. This is where much of my extended family resides, and that makes for large get-togethers for holidays and football games. My older brother, Troy, 22 years old, is currently living in Chicago, Illinois and working as an electrical engineer down town. Another big part of my family includes my family’s two dogs, Kasey and Kieran.

I have been active in my home church for all of my life. Whether it involves singing with the worship band, working the projection equipment, or helping out in the nursery, I like to be involved.

Relationships have always been important to me, and I strive to maintain friendships with people close to me from high school and college. I love going to visit and see what they are up to in their new lives. This is something I make time for every year.

Some of my goals for the future include traveling outside of the country, perhaps to Ireland to discover some family history, as well as settling down and starting a family. My family today has inspired me to instill the same values into my children.

I enjoy working with children, especially 4th graders, and I am so happy that I have followed my calling to be a teacher. Thank you for taking the time to view my site and learn a little about me and what goes on inside our classroom!
