Diversity
Being in the teaching profession demands that we, as educators, communicate and work in an environment with people who may be different from us. Throughout our existence, we must work along side with other people who have different beliefs, values, and are from different cultures and backgrounds. I have always felt that diversity is critical in education. To be able to celebrate diversity and use each student's personal background to enhance a class is key in making it a positive learning environment for all students.
