Course Description
History 443 is an upper-division History course for advanced undergraduates interested in the Middle Ages. This course seeks to give students a historical understanding of the three main cultures of the medieval Mediterranean: western European Christendom, Orthodox Byzantium, and the Islamic Near East in the period between 1000 and 1300.
