Collegiate Objective

On a personal level, I wanted to go away to college instead of living at home and attending community college so that I could find out more about myself. Had I stayed at home, it would have been like going to high school all over again. Going away to college forced me to meet people, become more responsible, and learn about myself. I no longer have my mom there to make me go to school, make me meals, and everything else she did for me.

On a professional level, I came to Western to get a degree in something that I enjoy doing and then pursuing a career after. I planned to continue my path from high school and continue to get good grades and prepare myself for the rest of my life. I plan to meet people that can help me get fast tracked in my career and get my life on its way. I planned to attend all my classes, study for tests and never skip assignments. I think these are all key factors to doing well in college, and also in the working world.
