On a personal level, my goals in college are to make lifelong friends, experience new things, learn about myself, and develop as a young woman. I hope to make friends that in the future we can reminisce on the college life and events we surpassed together. I also hope to take part in events and activities I have not experienced and hopefully find a new hobby. My biggest personal goal is to become more intelligent both academically and socially. I intend to achieve a 4.00 GPA at least once during my collegiate career and attain an overall 3.50 GPA. I think college will address personal goals by forcing me to be independent, but giving me the opportunity to meet new people to guide me along the way. College will give me the opportunity to make both really good and bad decisions but learn and grow from my mistakes. College also can help me attain my goal of achieving a 4.00 GPA at least once because of the various sources of help.
On a professional level, I hope to achieve great knowledge in the career of my choice; enough to be one of the more prosperous in the field of study. To succeed professionally, I also plan to begin networking, making connections with people that could aid in the line of business I am part of. Like my goals on a personal level, I hope to achieve a 4.00 GPA at least once before I graduate and an overall GPA of 3.50 or higher by graduation. I feel that this will put me above other university students seeking employment at the same businesses. I am unsure as to what I want my professional career to be, but college has assisted me through the various courses available for me to find my passion.
