Job Description: Educational Leadership


Primary Responsibilities: Successful candidate for this tenure track position will teach masters and doctoral level courses in educational leadership, including web-enhanced and at off-campus sites; evaluate thesis and doctoral dissertation proposals; develop and evaluate comprehensive exams; serve on the Dissertation Oversight Committees; and advise students.


Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must possess an earned doctorate degree in Educational Leadership or related field from an accredited program and institution of higher education. Candidate must have expertise in conducting qualitative/quantitative research and assessment; proficiency in oral and written communications; must demonstrate an ability to work as a team with peers in diverse settings with diverse populations.


Desired Qualifications: Candidate with a strong research background; scholarship demonstrated in publications and procurement of grants, university teaching experience; experience in advising thesis and doctoral dissertations; must have administrative experiences in P-12 education and knowledge of the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and ISLLC standards.
