East Carolina University is the largest provider of teachers in North Carolina. The Department of Mathematics and Science Education houses nationally recognized programs and faculty in both disciplines. The position requires a Ph.D./Ed.D. in science education or related field, a strong/emergent research record in science education, knowledge/experience teaching ≥face-to-face≤ undergraduate/graduate courses, willingness to teaching via online/distance education, and eligibility for NC Teaching License. Duties would include supervising interns and graduate student research, maintaining a record of research and scholarship, grant development, and providing service to the college, university, and profession.
